I have based my life's work on the principle that music is more than pretty sounds, more than fun. I have the idea that man is a multi-dimensional being whose consciousness is active on many super-physical levels at once, and that music is one of the ways we can expand our awarenes to experiemce the power and intelligence of these higher dimensions.
These stories/essays tell about some of the key experiences of my life, which have led me to conclude that music is a door through which our minds can reach up into higher realities, and through which the living truth of higher realities may flow down into the physical plane, energizing and transforming us in miraculous ways.

"The thing is," he said, "I can't play the piece now; if I try to play now I remember all the childish bad habits, tensing, and stretching, and straining, that I had when I was nine, my brain reads back to the program of that piece that was put in when I was a kid.
